The Freeville Readiness Fair

Helping people learn to live better with less and prepare for emergencies

Our first-ever Readiness Fair was held September 16-17, 2011, as planned, despite an unseasonal chill in the air and an escaped felon on the loose near Dryden that led the county sheriff to urge people to stay home during the day! Fortunately, some 200+ people came out anyway, and we had a great day helping many people learn how to be better prepared!

Thank you to everyone who helped plan or present at the fair. The Boy Scouts were especially excellent, helping with everything from parking directions to picking up after the fair. Terrific job, Scouts, especially our fair coordinator, Eagle Scout candidate, David Wakeman.

The list of those who presented in September 2011 is found here.

Pictures coming soon.
